SBL High School is proud to announce it has been awarded a $20,000 STEM BEST® Program Explore grant to host a radiology Camp and integrate state-of-the-art Virtual Reality (VR) and simulations into its healthcare curriculum.  This initiative aims to provide students with an immersive look into the vital role of X-ray technicians within the medical field.

Students at Radiology camp will:

  • Experience VR Simulations: Students will step into a virtual clinical environment to practice taking X-rays using professional-grade technology.

  • On-Site Exploration: Participants will visit local healthcare providers for first-hand demonstrations of medical imaging equipment.

SBL is committed to preparing our students for high-demand careers by providing access to this cutting-edge technology.  SBL Schools will help bridge the gap for the critical shortage of X-ray technicians.
