TSA is the Technology Student Association. The national competition was in June. Six SBL students qualified. There are only 38 students from Iowa that attend and over 7000 students nationwide that go and compete nationally. In addition to their state qualifying events, there are other events that are available only at nationals they can choose to participate in.
Our students did a great job representing Iowa and Sergeant Bluff at the National level. Not only did they compete with their state competitions but they also competed in competitions that were strictly at nationals.
Haden Gamble and TJ Prins made it to finals in Coding out of 50 plus teams. This meant they got 1st at State level and represented the Iowa chapter in this category and then had to take another quiz/test and score high enough at Nationals again to then compete in a project based competition.
