After carefully monitoring the weather forecast and consulting with the officials and visiting team, we have decided to make the necessary adjustments to ensure the safety and well-being of our student-athletes, spectators, and everyone involved in Friday’s football game. As a result, the football game start time will be moved up to 4:00pm.

Other details/changes regarding Homecoming Friday:

  • The High School (only) will be running a 2:20 dismissal schedule, allowing the parking lot to clear, time for all participants to get ready, and for the arrival of BH-RV.   High school bus riders will need to stay in the commons until buses arrive at their normal dismissal time of 3:20.

  • A normal schedule remains for the rest of the district, all buses run at the normal time.  

  • The announcement of homecoming royalty will still occur at the beginning of halftime, followed by the dance team and marching band.

  • The Youth Wrestling Carnival will be postponed until October 13th.

  • The Music Booster Tailgate will be postponed until October 13th.

We understand this change may inconvenience some of you, and for that, we sincerely apologize. However, the safety of our students is our utmost priority, and we believe this decision is in the best interest of all involved.  We will continue to monitor the weather conditions leading up to the rescheduled game, and any further updates or changes will be communicated promptly through our school's website, social media channels, and automated messaging system.
