Wednesday and Thursday lunches are switched at the Elementary School this week. They now will be:

Thurs, 3/26 - Chicken Alfredo, Steamed Broccoli, Breadstick, Pineapple

4th graders were busy this morning. Mrs. McCauley's class was working on cursive (now required by Iowa law), Mrs. Schultz's class was working on building structures that could withstand an earthquake, and Mrs. Black's class was working on fractions.





School will be closed today, Monday, March 16 due to rural road conditions.

School is 2 hours late.

Tomorrow, our students will watch a special performance from our High School jazz band and show choir.
Students will not be dismissed from the high school. Students who need to leave early must be picked up prior to 12:45 or after 2:15p.

Elementary students were working hard today. These 5th graders were learning about wind and soils in science, developing budgets and working on the parts of a story arc.

The elementary students wrote letters to National Guardsmen stationed in Syria for Veterans Day. Here is the response they received:

Hawks Coffee is hosting a Meet the Candidates event Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 5-6:30. Come and meet school board and city candidates. Supt. Janzen will be available for any questions related to the bond issue.
