The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School District is seeking bids from prospective tenants to lease two (2) contiguous parcels of land identified as Woodbury County Auditor’s Parcels 884732200007 and 884732200010 (totaling approximately 55.6 tillable acres) for row crop agricultural use.  A formal request for proposals, bid form, and form of lease agreement are available on the district’s website at sblschools.com/documents or by contacting the District Office at 201 Port Neal Road, Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054; (712)943-4338 Ext. 6.

Bid must be made on the bid form provided by the district and in accordance with the terms of the request for proposals on file with the District Office.  Specifically, all bids must provide for (i) a lease term beginning on March 1, 2026 and ending on December 1, 2026, and (ii) cash rent payments.

Bids must be submitted to Mr. Chad Janzen, Superintendent of Schools, at the District Office on or before 1:00 PM on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities in any proposal, and to enter into such agreements as shall be deemed to be in the best interests of the district.
