The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Board of Education is pleased to announce they have offered a contract for the position of High School Activities Director to Mr. Justin Smith. Mr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree from Dana College in English-Language Arts and a Masters’ Degree in Sports Leadership from Dordt University.
Mr. Smith currently serves as the Instructional Coach and Head Football Coach at Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School. He is also currently an assistant track coach at SBL. Prior to his current role, Mr. Smith taught and coached in Nebraska at Lincoln Northeast and Wakefield High Schools. Mr. Smith will remain as the Head Football Coach.
Mr. Smith will begin his new role as the High School Activities Director with the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community Schools on July 1, 2026.
