The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Board of Education is pleased to announce they have offered a contract for the position of High School Assistant Principal to Mr. Dave Schipper. Mr. Schipper received his bachelor’s degree from Morningside University in 5-12 American & World History and a Masters’ Degree in Education Administration from Iowa State University.
Mr. Schipper currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Liberty Elementary in Sioux City. He is also a volunteer assistant coach for the Warrior Softball Team. Prior to his current role, Mr. Schipper served as the district’s High School Special Education Instructional Coach, working with teachers to strengthen instructional practices and support diverse learners.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Schipper was a High School Special Education Resource Teacher, first at North High School and later at East High School, where he co-taught in a variety of core academic classes to support student success. During his time at East High School, he was also actively involved in athletics, coaching boys and girls golf as well as baseball.
Mr. Schipper will begin her employment as the High School Assistant Principal with the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community Schools on July 1, 2026.
