How to Watch State Wrestling:
The Iowa High School Sports Network will broadcast the IHSAA Boys’ State Wrestling Tournament semifinals and finals from Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
The semifinals will air on the IHSSN Cable Network Friday, February 16 with Class 2A at 9 a.m., 3A at 1:30 p.m. and 1A at 6 p.m. The finals will air Saturday, February 17 on the IHSSN Broadcast Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. Check local cable and TV listings for details.
In addition, viewers may stream the semifinals and finals at IHSSN.com or the Watch IHSSN App by purchasing a Wrestling Streaming Package. Those wanting to stream every State Tournament match must purchase a subscription to Flo Wrestling.

February National Food Day celebrations in the kitchen!

HS and MS archery teams are headed to state. The HS team is currently ranked in the top 10 in multiple categories. The middle school went from ranked 30th to 17th in qualifying. Congrats!

Hey Warrior fans! In case you haven't heard, NINE wrestlers qualified for individual state today. Congratulations!

High school counselors visited with 8th graders to teach them about course offerings and programs at the high school.

On Tuesday, 8th grade math was working on linear equations with slope. Science was working on heat transfer. They just began working on a project to demonstrate their learning.

Last week 4th graders were busy making wind turbines. 5th graders were working on persuasive essays. I'm hoping I convinced them all the Vikings are better than the Packers!



Due to state and local grants and a generous donation by the SBL School Foundation, we were able to purchase the Anotomage Table for our Health Sciences program. The table allows students to see and manipulate organs and systems. Here are pictures and a video with our students.







Come join Warrior Wrestling on Tuesday night in the 3-5 Elementary Gym for Regional Dual Wrestling. Webster City vs Glenwood at 6:00, followed by SBL vs the winner. Winner advances to Iowa City for State Duals on Saturday!!

Thank you to the students that served in the student committee to help interview the middle school principal candidates. They did an amazing job! The answers they had to candidates questions were very thoughtful.

School will be 2 hours late on January 19, 2024. With the winds, road conditions are deteriorating.

School will be two hours late in the morning.
Some secondary roads may remain impassable. Bus drivers will contact you if they are concerned about your road. You may also reach out to the bus driver OR Tony Bos. If your child is not able to get to school tomorrow due to road conditions, they will be excused. Please plan to contact your building office if that is the case.

School will be closed Monday, Jan. 15. No activities, no practices.
